Set in a magnificent site between Bambous and Tamarin in Riviere Noire district, the Casela Bird Park hosts some 140 varieties of birds from around the world.

Due to weathering over time, the cooling of the volcanic rock produced beautiful earth minerals and patterns in various undulating mounds in seven distinct colours.

The Tamarin Falls are 293 metres high, awe inspiring and a sight not to be missed, you can have a cool bathe at the bottom of a series of seven waterfalls.

Monkeys and giant tortoise can be found in this amazon green forest where giant bamboo grow. Over a thousand nile crocodiles are in this sanctuary.

Le Morne in the south is a top world fishing spot. The deep water currents attract shoals of fish being pursued by huge predators of Sailfish Tuna Barracuda Wahoo and the Blue Marlin.

Caudan Waterfront is the bustling hub of Mauritius. It has many Restaurants Bars Cafés Duty-free shops Craft Market Cinemas Casino and even an English Pub for a cool pint.

Street vendors sell a variety of tasty snacks and in the souk-like market. It will transport you to an atmosphere of the bazaars of the East with exotic spices and tropical fruit & veg.

The largest annual pilgrimage of Hindus outside India to a hindu sacred lake. People come from all over the world in March each year to make offerings to the hindu god Shiva.
